Matrix for cheapest car rental?

Hi all,

I fly into Lisbon from around April 1st, and would like to get a car for any period from 10-30 days. Doesn't need to be anything fancy.

Do any comparison sites offer a price matrix to allow me to find the cheapest deals available for some random long period I wouldn't think to check? E.g. with flights if you fly out on this day and return on this day it''s the cheapest fare that month.

Thanks.

My experience is that it is normally charged per day, and have even found that if you tick over a 24hr period it’s charged at a full day....

(I.e pick up at 08:00 and drop off at 08:15 the next day is 2 days)

As far as I am aware almost every car hire company has a daily and a weekly rate and nothing more complex, other than that occasionally there is a monthly rate.
The most common complication is that rentals are restricted to a maximum of x days where x may be a small number, and you get a higher rate if you increase the rental period.
Longer rentals seem to be becoming more and more problematic.
