Watch on iPlayer the BBC's Panorama about this character. Plenty of tips there on how to deal with tenants you want shot of.

Oh I so hope that's irony Umkomaas. That barstool makes the parking scammers look good.

That is all very well but the Council are very reluctant for landlords to take ownership of their property and will do their level best to ensure that no tenant, however much of a tow-rag they are, is ever evicted.

This is very true. And more to the point for those of us who bend over backwards trying to be good landlords (I reckon you're the same) is that trying to apply pressure to get idiots to shape up and keep their home without being a menace is often futile. It works for morality-free zones like the feudal overlord in the link but who wants to emulate that creep?

Sorry for perpetuating massive off-topic, my blood has been boiling for months due to this particular issue. I'll shut up now.

My tenant has now moved out, however, not without taking half of the inventory. The cleaning alone cost £500+ and the letting agents have told her she can say goodbye to her deposit.

But even better news, I have received an apology from the council.

I was appalled by his attitude and actions. Enough money to litigate any tenant into submission.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    Hi,

re Elite Management. The potential dodgy scenario outlined above appears to have eventuated with us. My wife was ticketed on the 27th April 2018 (whilst Elite on suspension, have found some DLVA letters on line that state this was in play at that point). My wife was then written to, obviously details have been obtained during this ban.

(long story that i wont go into, but we ignored subsequent letters, although now had one titled 'intent to claim').

Does the above re suspension, unpick the whole thing or are they allowed to outsource obtaining dvla records?

    thanks

You need to stop posting on other people's threads, where you won't get a response to your case, as this thread isn't about your case.

Read the NEWBIES THREAD for your stage, then start your own thread, and show us broken links (change http to hxxp) to this online info, that you say proves Elite were banned that long ago:
