I have LBCCC but live abroad - can I still fight it?

Hi all, I recently received an LBCCC after getting fined by OneParking Solutions. We did file an appeal at the time but it was rejected and then we genuinely forgot about the claim. Now we have an LBCCC (Gladstone's Solicitors). Ive been reading all the helpful comments and advice on this site and would love to fight these guys but not sure how? My mum receives my post but is also abroad a lot so I cant guarantee there will be someone in the Uk to receive letters and print and send my response letters. Does anyone know of a company that takes it on, on your behalf? I would be happy to pay a company that is fighting against these charges rather than giving these awful companies the money. I looked in to private parking solutions and there were so many bad reviews that I am worried about handing over the responsibility.
The original fine was £100 for pulling over on a high street (I was heavily pregnant and my husband pulled over to let me out and waited for me for 2 mins) and it is now £250.
Any advice gratefully appreciated!!! Otherwise I think we may have to pay the fine:mad:

You don't need anyone to fight it and in any case you will need to be at any hearing in order to defend it.
Now if you live abroad permanently it won't make any difference to you should they issue a claim.0 -
pulling over on a high street ?
where is this high street? From the Plain Language Commission:

Glad you spotted the reviews on 'Private Parking Solutions' they are the worst!!
I don't know much about your scenario but others here will, nothing worth stressing over at this stage, that's for sure!0 -
And they're using Gladstones to do their legal stuff, a firm of solicitors that are well known for their "professional" levels of incompetence and roboclaims*

This is not a fine, it is an invoice for the damage they allege you caused them by allegedly breaching an alleged contract.
I think that they would struggle to persuade a court to serve papers overseas. I would send them a FOAD letter from your overseas address. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
It is not a fine.
Give both the solicitors and the parking scammers your overseas address for service. Every time you receive anything by whatever means, remind them in large font bold type that you live overseas.
If anything arrives from a UK court, tell them exactly the same thing, you live permanently overseas.
Complain to the MP where this alleged event occurred.
You don't need anyone else to help you with this and you certainly don't need to ay anyone anything.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -

It's kind of the same, but without the "AD" bit.0 -
When I was doing the job, this sort of thing had to go through the FCO and a consular officer would have to serve the papers by hand. It was immensely costly, I had to fly 2,000 miles once to in a guardian ad litum case
I do not think a two bit scammer would want that expence. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

TD would never have made that speling misteak. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
