    Hi all -

I realise I've probably dropped the ball on this a bit due to being away which unfortunately wasn't due to the nicest circumstances and I've had a fair bit of personal stuff to deal with, so I haven't been 'on the ball' with all of this, but any advice on what to do next would be greatly appreciated.

As an update, I have received 3 letters, none of which contain a popla code. Instead they threaten passing my details to a company to pursue legal action.
I can't really work out what to do here as I said I was away so dropped the communication, and can't really find a template letter or course of action which suits.

(Ironically, I was walking through said car park the other night and none the lighting is currently working and I tripped over a pothole as the road surface is terrible. If only I had of injured myself more seriously!)

Send an email complaint to Steve Clark at the BPA, showing him the letters and your appeal (proof it was sent and when) complaining that you were not given a POPLA code:

    steve.c@britishparking.co.uk

Tell him you agree to him discussing your case and lack of POPLA code with Local Parking Security Ltd.

If your initial appeal was sent within their 28 day deadline and you provided the information they required (not the driver identity) as detailed on the PCN, and they've failed to provide a POPLA code, then send a complaint to Steve Clark of the BPA. Don't sit on your hands on this, strike now.

    No, there's no template.

Thanks for your help all, I'll do that now. Is there some sort of outcome of events I can expect now? My wife and I are currently going through a very anxious time and it would be good to know what may happen so I can make plans and manage expectations. Last thing I need right now is the stress of court.

Yes, Mr Clark will either get you a POPLA code, or tell you that you missed an email or letter with it on, or the PPC will cancel when he sniffs around.

Don't tell me, he's just reappeared on the forum with another case he wants us to spend our time helping him out of it?  Another CBA?

    Absolutely right @Umkomaas.
