    Well thats a bit of an exaggeration. I was trying to find out if there were ways around being labelled as a previous homeowner.

    I intend to leave it to the professionals, as ive already said. No harm in asking though, was there? Ive had my answer.

    But you couldn’t work it out for yourself so you asked a bunch of strangers.

    People who are successful at DIY are capable of doing research especially when all the information is freely available.

    There would rarely be a buyer that wanted more than the lender in terms of diligence

    I had some questions about contents e.g. do you own them outright, which would be of no concern to the lender.

    I’ll second that... it’s only when something goes wrong do people wish they had used a qualified solicitor and not done it on the cheap...like reading covenants in transfers or leases!:wall:
