2 tickets in 2 different car parks

Hi guys. I joined this forum for some advice, see if any of you have been caught this way by Euro car parks..I pulled in to a Pub(Wilsons Arm's, Knowle) to kill time with a coke and a packet of crisps, I was there less than an hour. A week later I get a parking ticket through the door stating that I hadn't paid for parking whilst I was there....I cant believe it, surely if I use the place I should surely be let off ???? Its a payment by phone transaction, ive never heard of it.. So I left there less than an hr after being there and headed home, before getting home I popped in to The Bell in Coleshill, same thing again, honestly, I cant believe how easy you can be caught out. Anyone with a similar experience with them ??? I'm livid, I find it so snide how they do it...Any replies appreciated guys...Chris
..To make matters a 1000 times worse it was my mothers car and she is absolutely fuming

  • normally there is an ipad thing in the pub for guests to register for free parking , non guests pay ,,,,,,,,and drink elsewhere

your first job should be to contact the managers , ask nicely but firmly to get tickets cancelled as you were customer

You do realise this is your mother's problem? You can do the work on it on her behalf, but everything must go in her name.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

As twhitehousescat says, the first thing to do is contact the pub manager and get this thing cancelled by them.
