Morning everyone and a very Happy Birthday to Camelot, hope you have a lovely day x

Good to hear that your DM spoke to someone who could answer her questions and allay her fears Gers
Wishing you OH all the best with his operation Gintot
    Enjoy you day out TA

Haven’t too many plans for today, need to go food shopping and pick up a few bits for this week’s meal plan, am finding shopping twice a week is working well rather than saying will do it just once and then keep having to pop in to the village shop.

Hugs to all poorlies, have a good day folks x
  • CAMELOT a Very Happy Birthday to you! There must be more Pisceans on here than any other star sign.

Now that we have been told once again that too many eggs are bad for us I passed on my usual poached egg on toast this morning. I had porridge topped with raspberries and blueberries instead. I had forgotten just how much I enjoyed that and will have the same again tomorrow I think!

    Take care xx

  • Good morning everyone,

I hope you all had a good weekend.

Mine was spent hosting 6 rowdy Glaswegians. It was just non-stop laughing, from start to finish and it was great to see the lads again. I lost my voice yesterday and my throat feels like I've swallowed a dozen razor blades! I'll survive.

I've another busy week ahead but tonight will be relaxed, with some yoga in there for good measure.

Right, I need to crack on with work.

Have a lovely day camelot :)

TA, according to Michael Mosley the study that said eggs are bad for you was very flawed.

Happy birthday Camelot. I know a lot of Pisceans, including family. Laura's baby will be an Autumn one which is a new departure for our family.

Dumpling, I forgot to say yesterday, I hope Lee gets the help he needs.

I had a very quiet birthday, Steve made a lovely roast dinner and Laura and Brian left in the early evening because she had to go to a work thing.

I don't think I feel up to yoga this morning but we'll have to take Ziggy for a walk. She is staying with us until Friday.

Morning all though not so good this end so far

Internet has been intermittent on and off this morning so this is the third and defo the last attempt at posting. Seems its not just me as the local facebook group is up in arms ...nothing new there then :D Would defo retire from posting on t'internet if I had to use my phone all the time

Work from home day today...pros its a paid course design and I can wear pjs cons I am not designed to focus and avoid distractions so I suspect I will do everything bar what I should :D

The carrier bag mountain in the "shove everything in and hope for the best" cupboard has not gone down :o suspect that might appear on the things to distract me list elona shopping bags are one of my weaknesses I have a boot full of every type of shopping bag going including cloth, string and of course rattan from my phase of needing every design of seasalt bag :rotfl: Carrier bags I just use for bin bags so goodness knows how I got so many...SO maybe they do reproduce in the dark

Food last night was my favourite.. liver bacon and onions scrummy as always and plenty for a repeat performance tonight.

Hope you all have a marvellous Monday :A

Morning and have a lovely birthday Camelot.
Raining again- no change there then!
Dh has spoken to the garage man about repairing the bump. The man who slid into it yesterday said his friend would do the repair but DH was a bit wary and wanted to know who, what, were etc. :DAnyway it seems a perfectly respectable business and he is happy to let them repair it,just have to sort a suitable date.
My bro and SIL were going to have an extension done by DH but have decided the outlay isn't feasible after all on their house. It was quite involved, going the full width of the house to enlarge the kitchen and dining room and make a utility room.Anyway they're just having a new kitchen instead and knock a dividing wall down but I think she cant visualise things and still thinks she'll have a lot more space :( She is a great cook & why she wanted a bigger kitchen in the 1st place.Think they were on the phone about 5 times yesterday...
Doing something with minced pork for tea-it's been in the freezer for ages and needs using so today's the day!
Hope Mr Gintot fares well today, and Gers Mum feels a bit better.
    Bye for now x
