Back in January i dropped my taxi passengers outside the IBIS hotel at BHX
There is a tiny pull in clearly marked HOTEL DROP OFF ONLY
It was early in morning and still dark. There were two cars in the pull in so I had to stop in one of the two lanes which go past the hotel

I then got a notice to keeper in the post, from APCOA asking for money or to name the driver
There were 4 pictures showing so little except my number plate. They were very poor quality and impossible to tell where taken.
So I replied using a template, saying, because Apcoa failed to provide geographic evidence or the Ts&Cs they say were breached, i declined to name driver, BUT if they wished to appeal, they could within 14 days with an appeals fee of £50

They just replied, thanking me for my appeal, which they have turned down and i now owe money. They say the passengers didnt enter the hotel
So, im unsure whether to reply with more words or just tell them to f off
They dont know the car is a taxi
Its not my responsibility where passengers go or dont go
I was carrying out my legal and licenced occupation, unable to park in the drop off due to congestion....not my fault

What should i do?

Have they given you a POPLA code. They are easy to beat at POPLA

presumably they issued a POPLA code ?

if so, you appeal to POPLA by using that code and uploading a PDF to their bin icon, within 28 days

if so, just copy , adapt and paste a recent BHX POPLA APPEAL from similar threads on here , save as a pdf and upload it by choosing OTHER on the POPLA website, as a pdf appeal from a KEEPER

a KEEPER has no liability, so APCOA will tell POPLA they are not contesting it
