ParkingEye Golden Ticket / DRP Letter

Hello,
On October 12th 2018 I received a so called "Golden Ticket" NtK from ParkingEye for an over-stay on 20th September, 2018 in a motorway services. Presumably they sent the non-PoFA version because they knew that since it was more than 14 days from the alleged over-stay, PoFA could not be relied upon and therefore they were just chancing things.
I appealed using the golden ticket text, but somehow missed their expected rejection e-mail which arrived in November, which I now see (having subsequently found it) has a POPLA code included. Needless to say, since I missed this the first time around I did not lodge a POPLA appeal.
Fast forward to today and I have received a letter from DRP inviting me to pay the original amount from the PCN + an extra £60 (total now £160).
I plan to ignore this completely, but is this the right course of action?
Thanks in advance!

it is for now, and come back if PE issue an LoC or MCOL within 6 years of the event
you missed a golden oppurtunity to kill this at POPLA, and therefore to avoid court action
if they failed POFA , then the keeper has no liability, which is the main defence point at court0 -
Thank you RedX, a bit frustrating that I missed the POPLA opportunity, but that's water under the bridge now.
Can I just confirm that an "LoC" is a Letter of Claim, and an "MCOL" is a Money Claim Online? i.e. these are the first things I might expect to receive if PE persist with a small claims action0 -
Yep, time to ignore the DRP letters. Keep them, don't bin them - you may need them in the future.
As Redx has mentioned, they have 6 years to bring a claim, and it is important that if you move, you let PE know by sending them a data rectification notice to their Data Protection Officer. It doesn't need to say anything other than the change of address, but it does mean that they won't try sneaking a claim to an old address.Natwest OD - Start: £1,500 Current: £1,500 | Creation Loan - Start: £2,152.33 Current: £2,082.90 | Barclaycard CC - Start: £5,242.42 Current: £5,416.45 | Novuna Loan - Start: £8,598.43 Current: £8,366.04 | Tesco CC - Start: £9,420.22 Current: £9,885 | Northridge Car - Start: £15,584 Current: £15,017

Thanks ShakeItOff, I have actually moved since already, however I still have access to the previous address (it's a family-owned property only a mile away from the new house) so I regularly visit to pick up mail anyway, but worth knowing about the data rectification letter.0

Even if you go there regularly, you don't want to run the risk of not receiving a letter before claim/court papers etc. It is a faff to get a default CCJ set aside, and easily avoidable.Natwest OD - Start: £1,500 Current: £1,500 | Creation Loan - Start: £2,152.33 Current: £2,082.90 | Barclaycard CC - Start: £5,242.42 Current: £5,416.45 | Novuna Loan - Start: £8,598.43 Current: £8,366.04 | Tesco CC - Start: £9,420.22 Current: £9,885 | Northridge Car - Start: £15,584 Current: £15,017
