Hi all,
After having the grave misfortune of allowing this shower of a company to supply me with electricity up until 01.11.17, they are now chasing me for payment of an alleged balance of around £650.00.
I note, thankfully, they have gone into administration but given the age of the debt, can you please advise whether this is enforceable or recoverable.
They are, without doubt, the worst company i have ever dealt with and just looking back through my emails to them, I can see there have been no less than 170 emails going to and fro between us trying to sort an account issue out.

In the UK, except Scotland, the Limitations Act sets the time limit for legals claims at six years. It's five in Scotland.
However, there are late billing rules set by the regulator that set a limit of one year for billing, if the lack of a bill is the supplier's fault. But that doesn't mean that you can get out of paying a bill by refusing to pay it for a year.If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
