Hi all,
Im back for more guidance.
I have been looking for a home since July and have even allowed my current house to be sold and brwak the chain as I am so indecisive.
I am a single would be purchaser and my father is away for several months.
I have been doing viewings alone for months, however I have seem to have found myself making an offer on a property after a second viewong (suggested by the EA on an off chance over text) to have made an offer with 24 hours.
Im by nature and by life experience generally an indesicive person.
Now I feel like i have been kind of talked into this (sounds weird as its a house but I dont like letting people down).
This is the same agency that I was buying through but I recently pulled out due to uncertainty.
I dont know what i am doing to be honest. i dont know if I shoukd proceed or just go off map for a while regarding buying a house. (I am the type of personality who always looks fpr a bargain but not a cheapskate if that makes sense? ) i keep thinking they pushed me to increase my offer and i just agreed for the sake of agreeing.
I dont know how I feel.
To be honest i dont know if I will ever find the house I love, and without repeating myself on previous posts i dont know how to proceed.
All i know is on previous posts you guys have always given impartial advice and reassured me.
I sound like a child I imagine but I do struggle to adult sometimes but in this case I need to buy but have no clue how to decide as something is always niggling away; but some would say thats just me I alwys over think over worry and second guess my own decisions.

This is the house in question.
I went in with £310 but they literally made me up it without telling the owners in about 30 seconds to £315k. And tbh I feel like I was in a corner. Please be brutally honest.

The house is very nice and well decorated , not sure about price as I don't know the area but the location is totally wrong for me but that is purely a personal opinion0

The house itself looks bright and sunny, which speaking personally is important to me. Its well decorated, easy to add your finishing touches to. The rooms aren't too small. The only minor thing is the muddy back garden. But its easy enough to get turf and relay if necessary. I'd probably check it again to see if its a garden with drainage problems (probably not now when its so wet lol, that will not help).
But keep looking, see if you find something you like better. I have always found myself that when you find something you like so much you have to buy it, you know. But it doesn't work like that for everyone.
Can you take someone with you to give you another viewpoint?
Off the cuff - have you ever tried something like mindfulness? There are videos on Youtube. It can help with stress (I have a problem with this).0 -
Its a perfectly fine house, plenty of space for one person and you wouldn’t need to move if you met someone or had a child or two.
I don’t know the area, if the location is ok for you and you can afford what you’ve offered, why not buy it? There is no perfect house, even with an unlimited budget!0 -
Looks like a nice house!
If your so indecisive perhaps you need to explore the root cause rather than jump in with offers.
Do you need a 3/4 bedroom house? Does the idea of having so much unfilled space worry you?
If your on your own why not look at something smaller and more contained?
What is niggling on this one?0 -

It sounds to me as if the EA is pressurising you because he/she knows he/she can.
Is there any need to buy before your father comes home?0 -
I have two girls - 7 and 4.0

Am I just being indecisive or is this something most people who buy go through?0 -
If you like the house, you like the area and you can afford it what is the problem? No house is going to be perfect.0
