Business lease personal indemnification on personal credit report?

Options
Hi guys, some advice needed as I am securing a new vehicle through my small business as a business lease (contract hire) and the finance company have asked if they can use my personal details to indemnify the agreement.
As the vehicle is a business lease and not my own, I am worried that this will show up on my personal credit report and then will stand in the way of obtaining credit for my own purposes (which is not really an acceptable outcome).
Anyone shed any actual hard evidence or fact on whether business lease personal indemnification appears on personal credit reports?

It is not uncommon in the case of a small businesses for an owner or director to have to offer a personal guarantee in respect of lending to a business. This is effectively what they are asking you for. I would not normally expect this to appear on your personal credit report but I guess that there is always that possibility as it is a personal liability.
