Chance of appeal?

Thanks waamo - I'm being totally naive in thinking I might be able to appeal to their better judgement aren't I? I could say I was performing open heart surgery on the dalai lama and they'd reject a first appeal as, well, why not?

I'm currently on day 12 and am intending to send the following.

Why are you not using the initial appeal template from the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #1? If you’ve read the sticky you will know that nothing you write will get you a cancellation - you’re angling simply for a POPLA Code.

They don’t have one. Their goal is quite straightforward, they want your money and nothing you can say to them will divert them away from trying to grab it.

You need to get this to POPLA, but if you can’t factor in the day 26 target date, how will you handle the POPLA deadline?
