Hi All,

I have the above phone, however it's at the end of its life and beyond repair. Does anyone have any recommendations of a good phone to move onto from this?

Thanks in advance

Deciding what are your main uses and needs are from a phone will help others narrow down the choice for you.

Really the usual calls, online usage including social media and having a good camera is a benefit.

Another question might be, do you want a brand new handset or are you happy with a second hand one that's been refurbished?

I guess you'd probably benefit from another Android phone so you can transfer your data over.

I'd have issues with a refurbished phone not lasting.

What size screen are you looking for and how much do you want to pay?

Are you buying the phone outright or on a contract?

I'll buy it outright as that's cheaper, I would not want to go over £200.

You've not said if you want to stay with a smaller phone like your Sony Compact or if you're happier to change to a bigger screen, most are >5"?

I understand your concerns but depending upon where you source it from, they are sometimes better than 'brand new' because they are tested thoroughly before being re-sold.

I've seen some other MSE forum members recommend the Xiomai brand of phones and others have suggested Huawei and/or Honor.

I'm leaning towards the Huawei P Smart 2019 phone priced at £199, can I do any better than this?
