Alumni discount not applied

Options
Hi all,

I recently graduated and then completed my teacher training at the same university. It was only at the graduation did I notice a sign that said that alumni from the university should receive a 10% discount. I emailed the university and they responded with:

"I am sorry but you should have applied for the Alumni Discount before starting the Teacher Training programme. "

Does anyone know of any grounds for it being reimbursed?

Thanks in advance!

Probably only goodwill, and if they've already turned that down you may be out of luck.

Sorry Op. you appear to have a history of not noticing things that are in front of you?

Teacher training. My advice is to pay more attention in class.
