Dongles - am I out of touch, does everyone just tether?

Three allow tethering of the full amount of data you have in your plan and if you have an unlimited plan they have a fair use policy of 1000Gb. This applies to all plans new and old so they are one of the best now for tethering.

My 3 £6.99 sim only 8Gb package allows tethering. Netflix (not HD) is also "free" as in, not included in my 8Gb allowance.

I would always look at tethering packages rather than "dongles" as you can use portable wifi with devices other than laptops (other mobiles, tablets, kindle etc)

Nope - quietly was right! I'm a few months out of date - changed as of October 2018 after years of having restrictions.

From what I've heard, Netflix on GoBinge does include HD.

I tether a lot with 3 using my iPhone X. Just be aware of the drain on resource (both battery and affect on other apps etc). I rarely have an issue but I do find that the phone gets warm.
