Help re. ABTA complaint against On The Beach please?

Firstly it sounds like you've had an awful year, and I can understand why you needed a break and looked forward to it so much.

Unfortunately having looked at the photos on tripadvisor, which I presume are yours, I tend to agree with OTB. The 2nd bedroom wasn't massive but it was adequate for 2 adults or 2 children. It has two single beds and the gap in the middle of the bed is wide enough for the door to open fully. It not luxurious but its also not exactly pokey.
I know you couldn't get a cot in there but it would have been plenty big enough for 1 adult and as the door opens and closes you would have had privacy too. As others have suggested the best solution would have been to swap rooms.
Your daughter or her partner could have also called OTB on your behalf, she could have even pretended to be you on the phone for all they knew as long as she knew all your details so they do have a point about not following the correct procedure.
I'm afraid you probably won't get anywhere with your complaint and the stress and upset of pursuing it further is probably not worth it or what you need right now.
