county court claim for parking fine help needed

HI
Can anyone help me with what i need to hand into the court regarding Gladstones Solicitors.
I am due to attended court on 5th April 2019 for a parking fine.
i have informed them that i have never owned a car or ever passed a driving test.
i have a copy of the car registration form and would love to have the neat handwriting of the person who filled it in with my details.
Fine was issued back in 2016, where i ignored it due to not being the owner of a car.
Back in June 2018 i messaged Debt Recovery Plus over this fine and informed them i have never owned a car, their reply was
"Thank you for your email regarding the above Parking Charge Notice (PCN).
I can confirm our records have been updated.
Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience this matter has caused you."
i considered this to be the end of it.
I got a letter before claim from Gladstones dated 12th June 2018, i wrote to them with the information that i have never owned a car, and that the form also has me as Mrs Willis and i am Miss Willis. They say they never got the letter and are taking me to the small claims courts. I filled in the forms with my defence they sent me and returned to the court.
So heres my thinking, i need to send in copy of car reg form, my copy of my signature from my passport, copy of emails from Debt Recovery Plus.
Is there anything else i should be adding in.

cheers
Sharon

But according to your earlier posts, in 2013, your son bought a car using your credit card.

Could it be that car, or a later car that your son bought, and perhaps registered it in your name - without you even knowing it?

The parking company will have retrieved the Registered Keeper's details from the DVLA.

    Hi KeithP,

that was with my knowledge and the car was in his name as all his cars have been, this is without my knowledge and was 3 years later.

do you have anything constructive to say that can help me. I also got a copy of the registered keepers details, as i said in my post that i would love to have that nice neat handwriting and i do not recognise it as my sons either.

I don't know what you are looking at with 'nice neat handwriting', but a vehicle's Registration Document (V5c) is a printed document, not hand-written.

What do you mean? Surely the handwriting is the DVLA clerk's writing, if you mean you got the keeper's details from them? You didn't pay the DVLA for that, did you?

A keeper doesn't have to pay the DVLA for their own data.

You can't just rock up at the April hearing and hope to win. You need evidence and I would suggest you must escalate an urgent complaint within the DVLA if they have a car recorded against your data that has nothing to do with you - then you can use their reply as evidence.

You could lose in court, you know, even as a non driver.

You need evidence and to provide a witness statement, like the letter from the local court tells you, and there is a deadline to file & serve that to the court and Claimant.

Hang on, so the DVLA has sent you a copy of the form someone filled out, in YOUR name? Your son's name? Someone you know?

    Or a complete stranger's name?

the completed form is in my name, all my details, not my handwriting or that of my son, i have no knowledge of this car, and have never owned a car.

So, have you sent an email to the DVLA complaints team, telling them that?

And threatening to report them to the ICO unless they suspend, with a view to erasing, that incorrect data?

I am not talking about phoning them up.

When you phoned them, or emailed or wrote a basic letter? No phone calls, and no emails to random customer service people.

As I said, you need to email a formal complaint to the DVLA Data Complaints Team, threatening a report to the ICO.
