Next 'Next' Sale?...

the VIP sales are utter tosh IMHO. Most clothes are so overpriced at normal retail price that are really laughable.
I have had 2 invites in the past couple of years and both times drew up a wish list. BUT virtually everthing was out of stock or only available for lolly pop sticks.
Its such a con and not worth doing. Best bet is to go to the store in person when sale begins and not waste time any other way. At least that way you do get cloths that are just about value for money :undecided
Apologies in advance Jazzycat, but on this one, I have to disagree! The VIP sale is excellent. (although the allocation of invites is confusing to say the least, and very unfair)
I have had approx 3 or 4 invites over the last few years, and have always managed 95% of what I've wanted! However, I do agree that in store is always an option, because not all their stock goes in the Directory!

the baby stuff and kids stuff are usually the biggest bargains IMO! I buy for my 2 and 7 year old, and manage to get either most of their holiday clothes, or Winter Coats for next year etc...or both!!!
Bought lots of things for our new nephew (before he was born!) and got things like the New Born Starter Kit (approx 6 pieces of clothing) for £3.49, originally £15? Approx!
Good Luck!
I can't wait. Spend a fortune, but Save a fortune too!

I hope but wont hold my breathe that I get an invite this time as DD is in desperate need of new clothes bless her. Dont have a store near me and dont drive so not even possible to get to a store!
Oh the stress of watching mse and hotukdeals constantly in the upcoming weeks for the sale codeWins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0 -
Try the Next clearance shops (if you have one near you ) on the run up to Christmas as they will be trying to get rid of excess stop before the sale. Last year I bought loads of stuff in december (last two weeks before Christmas) for silly prices - Kids coats from £25 to £2, Jeans £16 to £2.
Went in to my local one today and got a lovely cashmere scarf from £24 to £2.
Some stuff is not marked down the best thing is to get it priced checked.
Worth a look, I bought a lovey Next coat in the clerance shop a couple of weeks ago from £60 to £12.
I very rarely now shop in the full priced Next shops unless its something I really want and can't wait for or don't think it will be reduced.
the next clearance store in Mcarther glen out let, began their sale on 8th dec. Not allowing any returns on saturdays and sundays, not sure until whenA smile and manners doesnt cost any thing0
