How do you get the vip invitation please?
  • the VIP sales are utter tosh IMHO. Most clothes are so overpriced at normal retail price that are really laughable.

I have had 2 invites in the past couple of years and both times drew up a wish list. BUT virtually everthing was out of stock or only available for lolly pop sticks.

Its such a con and not worth doing. Best bet is to go to the store in person when sale begins and not waste time any other way. At least that way you do get cloths that are just about value for money :undecided
  • It seems inhuman to imagine queuing at 4.30am on Boxing Day! but have fallen in lust with the polo neck cashmere sweater at £75 and there is NO WAY I can afford it at full price. Am just trying to figure out if it will go into the sale or not??

Yes with the illusive VIP invitation. Should be fun again :)

Can anyone tell me rough prices for how much the baby clothes go down to in the Next sale?

My partner's best mate's wife is pregnant, due 20th March, and to help them out a bit as money will be short I was going to shop in the sales and pick up baby clothes when they are reduced. I know Tesco cut there's down to silly prices like 50p for a gorgeous embroidered sleepsuit (was only £2.50 in the first place, admittedly!) and I just wondered what Next prices were. Only ever wander into the baby clothes section when looking for rare presents and everything is inevitably full price at the time!
  • I've never notice Next baby clothes - didn't know they did them?

Most things are usually half price or less.

  • Try the Next clearance shops (if you have one near you ) on the run up to Christmas as they will be trying to get rid of excess stop before the sale. Last year I bought loads of stuff in december (last two weeks before Christmas) for silly prices - Kids coats from £25 to £2, Jeans £16 to £2.

Went in to my local one today and got a lovely cashmere scarf from £24 to £2.

Some stuff is not marked down the best thing is to get it priced checked.

Worth a look, I bought a lovey Next coat in the clerance shop a couple of weeks ago from £60 to £12.

I very rarely now shop in the full priced Next shops unless its something I really want and can't wait for or don't think it will be reduced.
