Isn't it normally Boxing Day? At least it always is in Scotland. Directory sale will start before Christmas for the "chosen few" when the personal invites go out.

For stores outside of shopping centres/malls they are always the day after Boxing Day (yes the 27th!) but many larger malls force Next to open on Boxing Day. I believe Braehead in Scotland has done this in the past.0
