NowTV SkySports Red Button?

Hi.
Posting on behalf of a family member (which I said I would sort out).
The TalkTalk contract is coming to an end this month - whereby the SkySports special deal will essentially more than triple in cost.
Add to that they have just added extra charges - £4 for 'normal TV' (which I presume isn't any better than freeview?) and some kind of extra call cost. AND the fact that the aforementioned SkySports doesn't come with the 'red button' option whereby you can chose to watch extra football games in midweek and it's a no brainer that 'we' need to change servive.
So essentially what are 'my' options?
The short of it is - family member is a football and cricket fan (I should check what channels this summer's Cricket World Cup are on and also The Ashes).
So TV wise would only want the Sports Channels that cover those sports. Then of course internet and the 'phone line'.
I did have a quick look on MSE's broadband checker
https://broadband.moneysavingexpert.com/#search
It seems there is a NowTV deal (see bottom of message) for £34.99 a month (inc. Skysports package) - which is more than half the cost of TalkTalks non offer price.
Does anyone know if NowTV offer the red button option as part of their service or is it a SKY only service?
Are there any other options?
I presume SKY is out of the question as they generally don't have any deals for their own services.
Thanks.

Thanks.
Does anyone have any feedback on NowTV? I think I'm going to go for that deal as it's less than half the price I'm paying now - for almost exactly the same package.Instigated terrorism the road to dictatorship.0
