Barclay's One Pulse card No £25

I received the Barclay's One Pulse card today but there is nothing in the lierature about Martin's tip of a free £25 spend after the first purchase.
Have I misunderstood something here.

I gave my daughter The Times vouchers for PizzaExpress. The four of them went for a meal last Sunday. Guess what, they had no pasta and they had no beer. I know it's just one shop (centre of Manchester) but how bad is that??

We also applied for one pulse card and can't seem to find out what happens with the £25 credit. Rang Barclays and they didn't seem to know anything about it:confused:

I too got this card for my OH, spent £40 on fuel on it, had the statement in, no mention of the £25.00 though. I'll look at the article again. These are t & C's on the £25.00, You have to wait up to 28 days after the first statement.

I've told barclays, that if I don't receive my £25 this week, I shall be closing my account, that is after I've requested 10 replacement cards.

From the wording it seems you don't get the money until your 2nd statement.

Anyone know if existing Barclaycard holders (not one pulse)are eligible for the £25?

I went to apply online but noticed that existing card holders have to telephone them to apply.

    TIA

They've credited me 3 times now, then took it back, and re-credited me the £25 back.
They will probably post up my details outside their offices next.

  • I fulfilled all the requirements to get the £25 from Barclaycard but they still have not paid me the £25 promised, they also ignore my emails asking for details of who to complain to. The really stupid thing about Barclays is that their attitude will make me cancel my acccount as soon as they cough up my money. How stupid to offer people an incentive to attract customers and then mess them about - do they think that will make them stay with ?Barclaycard? No way!!!!

I spent £25.36 - the first statement correctly showed this as the balance.

When I checked yesterday (before paying the bill) the balance had gone down to £0.36 becaue the £25 had been applied within the 28 days.

    All was fine for me...
  • I got my card on the very first day it was released to the public.

I suspect i was too early for the promo, but its worth trying for it,

  • Not received my £25 either despite spending on the card as required. 2 statements, no credit, only credit was my own cash I paid in.
