    A car with full service history 76k on the clock drives a treat good MOT history engine sounds great changes gear great just because of the milage it's worthless? It costs around £150 for it to be repaired officially

    But it hasn't got 76K on the clock because it doesn't have a clock, it could have 760K and you have no way of proving the actual mileage to a future buyer (you don't even know what it is now).

    Yes when I bought the car it has 76k on the milage until it got repaired I couldbt see it anymore I've checked the MOT history the milage is correct

    No it's (nearly) worthless because of its age. At 13 years old it is about £600 quids worth.

    No, they give high-ish valuations based on your description then knock off as much as they can when they actually have the car in front of them.
