The criteria for the most basic power seller status is a regular turnover of 100 sales per month or £750 worth of sales per month based on a 3 month period. I'm sure someone will link to the criteria for the rest of the levels etc shortly.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Entry Criteria is here - http://pages.ebay.co.uk/services/buyandsell/powerseller/criteria.html
If you sell a few high value items, or even just one car, it can give you sales the necessary boost to get over the threshold, but to remain a powerseller, consistancy of sales is required. I have anywhere between 200 and 500 listings at any one time, spread 70% shop, 30% auction/BIN, and flit between silver and bronze level.
The main advantage of being a PS is access to the telephone support, but beyond that there are few real tangible benefits, although it is good to mix with the "glitterati" in the PS Discussion Board, where members can not hide behind posting ID's.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
Is the PS Discussion Board any good?
We're Platinum powersellers (nearly Titanium). What happens when they run out of shiny metals?
We've got nearly 500 items live at the moment.0 -
Holy Cow!
I think I better start diversifying and building my shop up ha ha!
Just to touch on something that steveq said.... You have a 70% Shop Inventory and 30% Auction...... That sounds like a good plan to get the sales but cheaply..... il try that im currently only about 5% Auction 95% Shop Inventory....
Thanks Guys! I think id be very please with myself if I broke through to the bronze level.0 -
you do need to run at least 25%-30% of listings as auctions/Bin to gain decent exposure for the shop format, unless you are selling a niche or have a huge repeat customer base.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0
