If we're out when DPD deliver they always take a photo of where the item has been left, not sure this happens country wide but would certainly check with DPD. We also have their app which gives us the same information.0

Is there not a tracking number on the card?
Use that to track the parcel, and then you can see its journey, might give you an idea.
Plus it will tell you if it is a new parcel or old.
Assuming there is a tracking number there though.
No - I don't think so. All I can remember reading is "Left with neighbour". I'll check later - don't know where my wife has left the card. Hope she can remember! :rotfl:0 -

Hmmm... Unlikely I think, but I suppose anything is possible...0 -

It is actually easy enough to order stuff and forget.
I was on my way out this morning, when I noticed a red card stating missed delivery from yesterday. All five of us had missed it till that point.....Yes it was through the letterbox but had been pushed behind the door. Anyway I digress....
Missing parcel is mine. Call all four children and OH and ask have any of them ordered me anything, cos I certainly haven't ordered myself anything.
However upon reaching home, and opening it. It IS something I've ordered. I ordered it last November. But delivery wasn't until now. ( agreed at time of payment)
Had totally forgotten about it. So had OH who was with me for purchase.
Easy enough done0 -

Absolutely. My wife has been really stressed out (is executing her mum's estate as well) and has a tendancy to buy a lot of stuff over the interweb - and then return it.0 -
I've found cards in our post box after they've delivered things, sometimes they fill them out and post them into the post box by our front door before we get there to answer it, as they don't hang around. Could be similar with yours.0

Yes, I was about to suggest it could relate to something the OP has actually received. Which would explain why neither of them can think of anything else they were waiting for.I've found cards in our post box after they've delivered things, sometimes they fill them out and post them into the post box by our front door before we get there to answer it, as they don't hang around. If it's not fully filled out maybe it was just a card that they were going to use but didn't and put it in what they thought was the correct recycling bin (maybe where they live the green box is for paper/card recycling). It really could be as simple as the card was a piece of litter and they put it in a bin.0
