Bed from Dreams collapsed

Hello,
I spent £550 on a bed from Dreams last month and during the night it has collapsed from below - it was wooden with slats and had a plastic support bar below which I assume gave way. There are small pieces of broken wood and I'm now sleeping on the mattress on the floor.
I've spoken with Dreams who are sending Homeserve around to repair the bed and file a report. I no longer trust this bed, I have zero confidence in it giving that it has collapsed within a month of purchase. My head/back is a little sore from the incident and I can imagine it reoccurring next month. I’ve told Dreams how I feel about the bed now and they have stated that if Homeserve find manufacturer faults that I can exchange the bed. I’m not even arsed about losing money on an exchange – I just want a bed with a solid base now.
The bed was fitted by them originally so whether it was incompetence, a manufacturing fault or both – I don’t know. Do I not have any rights if they botched putting it together? Can they force me to keep the bed despite it falling apart within a month? I’m sure repairing it would be fairly easy but I’m going to be paranoid any sudden movement will make it give way – not exactly what you want in a bed!
Thanks for your advice.

See what they say first...
I would like to say they installed it incorrectly but it's a bed so not exactly hard!!!
Give them a chance to repair (replace broken parts) and before they leave give it a good test! ;pShould've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
