Getting a better deal when BT is your ONLY provider

Hi! I’d really like some advice on how to get a better deal on our fibre broadband when BT is our only supplier. Our contract ends soon and they know that BT provides the fibre to the premises for our new build estate so they have us over a barrel! We’ve called them already to see if there’s anything they’re prepared to do and they weren’t very helpful! We have to go with them or have no internet!

Not true Mobile Dongle will give you internet.
Have you checked other suppliers ??
A few are taking up FTTP.
Dont see why BT would do a deal as you have no leverage .

You can even get mobile deals that give 25Gb a month if you are a low user no Netflix or Amazon movies, general usage can be the way if it's just a bit of surfing and buying and shopping on-line you don't need their entertainment packages.Someone please tell me what money is0

Zen, A&A also provide service over FTTP.
Your gripe should not be with BT, but with the othee providers who are use to take the opporunity to use Openreach’s fibre network.0 -

As already stated , you are not limited to 'BT' even if you are on Openreach FTTP, but of the ISP's that do offer service over OR FTTP , BT are probably the value provider, so if BT are already cheaper than the other ISP's on OR FTTP , why would they offer a reduction from the list price ?,
If you think you would get a better deal from Sky or TT ( for example) you would have to ask those companys why they don't offer OR FTTP , after all they do offer service over OR FTTC , and from OR's point of view they sell access to FTTP in the same way as FTTC, so if Sky and TT wanted to offer service they could, they chose not to.
If you were in an area that only had Virgin Media , then you wouldn't even have a limited choice of providers on their network, , it would be VM or nothing , and in those cases , there won't be a deal on the price either.
As already said, if you have a decent mobile signal you could possibly consider mobile broadband.0
