Sky TV Cancellation

I am wondering if anyone could help?


I joined Sky TV about 7 months ago I have had a change in financial situation so I need to cancel but they have told me I can't leave until February 2020, is that correct?

If that's the contract you agreed to then they are correct. If you get any cheap Sky deals there is always a tie in period.

OK thanks, I know people who have been in contracts before with Sky but paid a £30 admin fee to leave if they are experiencing financial difficulties.


I will give them a call later on as I am currently paying £75 a month for entertainment pack, multi room and sky sports (1 channel) with fibre broadband.

Sounds like you are on an 18-month package with Sky Q and you can't leave even if the price goes up.

You could remove all the extras and downgrade to bring down the cost each month, for instance the Entertainment Package will be £22 per month from April 1st.

You could also try emailing estenquiries@sky.uk to explain your change of circumstances and see what they can offer.
