Private ticket from F1rst

Hi, usually after 5.30pm students can park their car in the university's car park if you're going to use the facilities e.g. library. I parked my car in the early hours of monday morning for the library and have left my car for 3 days there however i have been using the university's extra curriculr facilities. When i came back i received 3 parking tickets/invoices from F1rst of £40 each if i pay within the first 2 weeks otherwise all the 3 tickets would be increased to £80 each and i don't have that kind of money at all to pay off even the reduced amount. Is there anything i can do, do i have to pay it off? I also am owner and registered keeper of the car if that changes anything. They do have a pay and display i believe however as a student i was using the facilities like i was allowed.

Please read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #1 which will inform you of the game you've just joined, and how to deal with it. There's a ready made initial appeal for you to use (don't add to or amend it). Do one for each ticket.
You've a good bit of work ahead of you given that three tickets are involved.i don't have that kind of money at all to pay off even the reduced amount. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

No you are not in a position of having to pay. Can you find the forum index? It's the thread at the top of this board that tells Newbies to read it first.0 -
Have you complained to the University? How sure are you that "students are allowed to park after 5.30.......?" Is it written anywhere on a sign or do you have a letter/notice from the Uni administration0

Honestly, i can't find no forum index i read the rules but i have a feeling its not the right one i cant see anything that tell newbies to read first. And im positive security allows students only after 5.30 which is when our student card opens the barrier, if we weren't allowed security wouldn't let us through which is what they do before 5.300

is this the one you advise me to use because i remember reading on here if you appeal then you're accepting liability leaving you in a worse position. Im just confused on where to go from here
i had to space it out because i cant use links0 -

I was in the wrong as they said students are only allowed after 5.30 but my car was parked there and given the fine within morning hours so i was at fault. However since its private and an invoice is there another way out of this or do you think i should try find money somewhere and pay it at the "reduced rate"0

The post above yours contains a link that tells you how to get out of this this.0 -
I read it but I’m confused on the appealing stage, I should wait till day 26 and then appeal as the keeper but I’m confused. I am the registered keeper of the car anyways, if this does result in going to court will I have to pay for a solicitor0
