I can't post images

I've uploaded some images to imgbb, e.g. this one:

But I don't seem able to insert the images into posts.
I click the yellow postcard icon, paste the address. But instead of the images appearing I get a grey broken image icon.
Icon looks like this:

What am I doing wrong?

Ah, I think I might have got it

The first links were to pages that the images were on, not the images themselves. I needed to right click and View Image to open just the image itself and copy that.0
