Any chance OP has got confused and overexcited about their right to Voluntarily Terminate?[/QUOTE

Excuse me, but don’t no what voluntary terminat is.

If you read my post. You will see that on a 4 year term I can change my car when it’s half the value which would me now which is 6000 for a car that costs 12000. Yes I should of read the agreement. So I’m to blame for that. I’m really annoyed that the fact they have no clue about customer service lol.

I’ve just called them to remind to send my reports for repair to tell my car is now ready to picked up, hmmm that’s weird as I picked it up on Monday, now you see why I’m peed off as they have no clue what they are doing.

I’ve also had a friend look at my car after they said they changed the coils pack and plugs, these were never changed only wiped down

No you cannot change when it is half value. I know of no financial product that allows this, it would be financial suicide. You can Voluntary Terminate when half the amount paid is 50% or greater of the total amount on the agreement. The value of the car is irrelevant. Doing this will show on your credit report and it can lead to getting declined for further car finance.

VT is intended for people struggling financially and personally I see the use of it for convenience as abusing the process which will cause all sorts of problems for those using the clause for its intended purpose.

    Hi yeh,

My car is serviced on time every year as I pay for that monthly with service plan with them

Very nice. Now read your owners handbook and see what it says about regularly checking the oil and water levels and the tyre pressures and tread. I think you'll find it is more than once a year, more like every couple of weeks. Clearly you don't do that.

No doubt they're not much less clueless than you. Did your friend remove the spark plugs and inspect them? If not then they can't tell if they were changed or not. On what basis is your friend saying they'd only been wiped down, because they had a bit of dirt still on them? Guess what, a mechanics hands aren't pristine clean so there will be oil/grease from their gloves that gets transferred onto the new part.

Not in any agreement I've heard of. Have a look into what Voluntary Termination is. It allows you to hand the car back, once you have paid half of the loan off (including the balloon payment). Not to be taken lightly though, nor without researching it first. And if you're on a PCP deal you will have paid half off very late in the agreement.

You need to check what you are signing up for in future and how loans and residual car values work.

It might be better to save up and buy your next car cash then you can buy a new car every month if you want. Then you will also learn a lot about residuals and depreciation.

My car is checked a lot by my partner, oil water tyres etc.

Checking my car on brand new car is not the problem. The problems is the customer service I’ve recieved from Evan Halshaw. I take it your an employee or ex employee of them 😂

Bingo! It was only a matter of time. The standard response from someone not getting what they wanted to hear.
