changing tariff on 3?

i have finished my 12month contract with 3, was 400m/250text. got all my cashbacks and an extra auto one for 120 which was nice. so my bill is now£35 a month for this package and i'm thinking of changing down to their £15 package. by doing so am i entering a new 18 month( they all seem to bve on 3 at the moment)contract?

    I think the lowest you can move down to without upgrading is £25 - I did this recently. But coz i was on a £45 tariff they charged me £25 admin fee to move down by so much in one go :( You can move down by one tariff each month for free though!
    Wondering how to have a life & not rack up more debts...
