Hi there, I'm contemplating a switch from hsbc to nationwide for a joint current account with my partner but worry something may go wrong. We have a joint account with hsbc and 2 separate sole accounts with nationwide. I have the following questions:
1) Our address with hsbc includes our county but the one with nationwide does not, everything else is the same. will I need to adjust this prior to the switch?
2) I'm the primary account holder at hsbc, can my partner be the primary holder with nationwide after the switch?
3) Can the switch be done online? Will nationwide require further checks (ID, address etc.) if we are existing customers?
4) What is the minimum number of direct debits if switching to nationwide?
Thank you
