Because the ones on Google Photos are probably not the original resolution? (Which will be the case if the free storage option is being used).
You may be right, I have to say it's not something that I've ever looked into - if I want decent photos I use one of my cameras, my phone is just for snaps so the resolution isn't a great concern.0 -
For many people their phone IS their camera. Many phones now have camera capabilities far better than some dedicated cameras.0
