Car identity - help
Can anyone please identify a car from just the description?
First of all it's like a cross between a Qashqai and a BMW Hatchback!
So, it's a smaller 'crossover' but more of a straight hatchback rather than the slope of a Juke.
Secondly, the front - black radiator grille rhomboid shape e.g. maybe 30" at the to and 24" at the bottom, with chrome surround trim. Also the front didn't appear to be sloped.
Thirdly, said 'crossover earlier - could see the bulged wheel arches, and bigger than standard wheels.
Any ideas?

Yes, I think that's the one I saw. Thought it might have been a Suzuki or a Seat - similar front grilles, but this Ford Ecosport looks much more like it.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -

Both of those brands have incredibly similar logos (seat & suzuki) so are you sure? Ford badge is surely one of the easiest to spot, no?
What about the arona? You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -

If it was the sport model of the eco sport the blue badge on a black grill is not so easy to spot. It's the flat back that made me think eco sport0 -

I was looking down on the vehicle from an upstairs bay window, it slowing passing in amongst crawling traffic. I didn't notice any badge on the grille - which judging by what 'brookside88' wrote is more fitting for the Ford.
Looking at more details on the car - can only see a choice of 1.0 litre petrol, or 1.5 litre diesel! Thought 1.0 ltr too small, why not something like a 1.3? The other thing I didn't like was - 'keyless ignition' read too many stories about them being susceptible to car theft!I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -
