Ticket for parking in own spot!

I agree with CM on this, The regulars helpful advise on this forum has helped me recently beat a case against NTC and BW legal for a accumalation of tickets in a council leased property parking space, for nearly £3000 when all their fake costs were added on, after being adjorned at court the first time they didnt even bother to turn up the second time. the judge also stated i had a very strong case. Please do not give up on this and fight them every way, it is stressful and time consuming but with you owning your own spot, there is no way they can win, good luck.0

Diminish the stress, get your MP on board as nine times out of ten these tickets are scams.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking CompaniesYou never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
This week, now, and tell the Managing Agents of the site, that you never agreed to it and have primacy of contract and a right to use your allocated bay without harassment by a scammer.
No sleepwalking into a nightmare. Nip this con in the bud, stop agreeing to it.
And if you have displayed a permit at any time in the past, make sure that it is known that you have only done this as a courtesy and entirely at your own discretion, as there is no obligation to display a permit, also offer them the opportunity to recover the permit by sending a stamped addressed envelope for such a purpose. From the Plain Language Commission:
