Bailiff not returned

Options
Hello, I am new to the MSE forum so not sure if I am posting in the right place.
We got a visit from a bailiff (first time we have ever experienced this) on the 8th January due to my partner having an unpaid bus lane fine. The total fine being £408, if he had paid the fine when it was first issued it would have been around £60! I paid £108 to the bailiff on my credit card & she left on the agreement that we would need to contact her to pay the remaining balance within 7 days. My partner contacted her to say he couldn’t pay it as the he was waiting for a cheque to clear (he is self employed) She said due to the agreement she would be back on the Friday or the latest Saturday morning. She never showed up. We left it two weeks & my partner contacted her again asking why she hadn’t been, seemed to catch her off guard as she had to ring back once she had checked the file. Rang back & arranged to come collect the money one evening, she didn’t show up. My partner contacted her the day after & she gave the excuse her car had broken down & arranged another day to come. This time she didn’t show up but texted him later that night to say she didn’t have any receipts left in her cash book & could he ring the company to pay over the phone or online. He said no (doesn’t want to make her life easy after all the scaremongering she did) Still to this day she has not returned! What do we do?

Can they add more fees even though we made an agreement? She was the one who kept banging on about this agreement but in my opinion she hasn’t stuck to it!

Yes ofcourse. The agreement was you would pay in 7 days, you haven't. That's really the end of the discussion

The full fees will already be in there: £75 for compliance; £235 for enforcement - there are no extra fees unless they remove goods, which no-one is suggesting will happen.

You just pay it online now.
