Does estate pay land registry fee

I am executor of a relative's estate. There is a property which has been inherited by a beneficiary who is not the residual beneficiary. Should the estate pay the fee for registering the change of ownership with the land registry, or should it be paid by the beneficiary?

Good question! Is the property registered or just a simple change? Probably thevestate.

The estate is already registered, it's just a transfer from the deceased to the beneficiary.

In which case I would expect the costs to come out of the estate. They will not be high.
