I tried it for 50 days at the end of last year, it never once offered me anything even as cheap as my current provider, Smarty, let alone anything cheaper.

It only offers deals on which it can earn a commission. I'd say do your own research and work out how you use your phone.

It also seems to ignore short-term promotions.

Yboo not available on Google Play Store.

Typing in yboo in the Play Store brings up some very strange adult dating sites!

Is this only available as an iPhone app?

It's come up this time around. Very strange.

Either way I don't think I will bother with it as I'm only paying £6 a month.

I can't easily see where it declares the permissions required though. Found it:
