Now TV Sky Sports Season Pass

Morning All,

I am an avid football and F1 fan and found that the most cost effective way to watch these this season was to sign up for the Now TV season pass at a one off payment of £180 for 10 months equating to £18 a month. Almost half of the monthly cost otherwise.

My question is, is this a regular offer that Now TV run most seasons or was this a one off and I need to look elsewhere for next season?

Your guess is as good as mine.
Most but not all NowTV offers tend to repeat so it may come back next year, it may not.

I've seen it run a couple of times I think, although the 10 months doesn't cover both seasons of F1 and football. I think they run it for the F1 normally so might be back soon. I normally check the offers page every now and then to see what's available - nothing yet. https://www.nowtv.com/offers

The F1 offer was due to start 2nd of March 2019 for ten months at £195!

Last year it was £150 for nine months of F1.

It has been slated as being too dear and NowTV have not released it apparently a revised offer will go live before the Australian F1 GP. Hopefully at a more realistic price.

The football offer was separate and released last August I think, so there was some overlap.

The new F1 offer may or may not be F1 only similar to Sky's add-on £10 offer for F1 only. Just have to wait and see.

    Hi All,

the offer in question was actually for the football and just so happened to cover the F1. The offer went live last August for £180 for ten months lasting the full football season and expiring in June. Was hoping for something similar this year and if needs be to use channel 4 highlights to bridge the F1 gap between June and August if neccesary

Got the F1 email this morning:

NOW TV Sky Sports F1® Season Ticket. Watch the entire season across 9 months for a one-off £195 payment.

T&Cs state: "At the end of the pre-paid period (9 months) Sky Sports Month Pass automatically renews at £33.99pm unless cancelled."

So, it looks to be a full Sky Sports pass (not just F1). Not quite as good as last year's deal ?!

Why would they when there is zero competition for legal access to live F1 in the UK?
Last year C4 showed half the races live, this year and going forward they will only show highlights.
  • they have indycar as well this year. have bought it this year despite the price hike

I got the email at the weekend as well - it's 9 months for all sport for £195, buy it up until some time in May. Gonna get mine Friday so I get all the F1, plus rest of this football season and some of next season, and the RL games, plus covers the International football cup thingamy. Given their monthly pass is about £34 now, it's decent value. It's actually gone up less than their other passes on a monthly basis.
