So, considering that there are about 120 days in a quarter, you and your husband are making at least two local daytime calls, two mobile calls and a national call between you every day.
And I guess you both have mobiles? So you are calling and texting from those as well? You must live on the phone!0 -
Hi
I am also with BT but use a 3rd party for international calls - we use 18866; e.g. at the weekend I phoned Singapore for 1p per minute.
Hope this is of use to you

I'm with TalkTalk for which I pay about £25 a month - that's broadband and home phone. Had it for about 2 years now and have had no problems.
P.S. Use the phone about an hour or two each night!Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
I'm on Talk Talk International 3 and my bill is just over £20 per month. I get broadband, free land line calls evenings and weekends, and free International calls. I call my daughter in Canada at least once a week for about an hour so well worth it.
Use my mobile to call mobile numbers because I get any network minutes free with Orange. (never use them all - obviously not as popular as Dumb Blonde  )0 -
we are with tiscali,we have never had any problems with them.
our phone bill is between £30/40 a month, this includes broadband, all calls are free day or night (01 & 02 numbers)this also includes line rental,we have a few mobile calls on there aswell.0 -
Try £361.
Received this morning.
Thats 1 line & broadband.
My hubby should buy shares in BT!0 -
I also have talk 3 international. Calls, broadband, international calls. My bill is never much more than £23 per month. However I don't allow anyone in the family to call mobiles from the landline. They have to use thier mobiles or msmAnyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

my sister always had bills of over £200 per quarter. Now she's on talk talk and it's under £ 20 quid plus whatever she pays for aol. Definately a massive saving. I'm with talk talk as well, went from a quarterly bill from bt of £50 - £60 to about £36 per quarter.
Oh and i'm on the phone at least an hour each day to OH most of the time it's a lot more.0 -
Gobsmacked!!! My bills are £20 a month for BT. I pay for annonomous (sp?) calls reject which is a £3 a month I think, but well worth it and a package that gives me free national calls after 6 pm. My Mum and Dad are with Talktalk and they have an international package. They are happy with Talktalk, but I dont think much of the customer service. They were without broadband for a couple of weeks,0

For goodness sake read Martins stuff on phone calls. Like spirit I use one of the cheap call companies, though I use 1899, I call my son in Australia as well as lots of other calls at all times of the day and my BT bill for this quarter was £31.50 and the 1899 bill was about £5 - 6 a month!0
