I think I make about 2 calls a week! Definately looking at it you need to stop ringing mobiles if you add VAT onto that cost it comes to your £70 over. Can you not text more or ring mobile to mobile if the same network or sign up to internet texting where you can text from websites?

A couple of suggestions- http://www.saynoto0870.com/ to find alternative numbers to these costly rates. I think you can also get them blocked....
Also- mobile phone calls, over a quarter this equates to about 3 per day!
Total calls- about 8 per day, does this sound right?

I will swap you,my BT bill came in at £98 for the month and i dont even use the damn thing:eek: . Does anyone know if there is a get out clause from BT.I have the broadband package with the white internet phone and wireless hub,All calls, charges ect should come in at £40 per month.i have had it for about 6 months now.If i get some tape for my wifes mouth it may stop her talking for a while and work out cheaper:D .

    BT are pirates.

    thanks.
  • wow, that's some going!!!

£69 in BT charges - I'm guessing that is line rental?

If my phone bill is over £6 a month in calls I get grumbly!

(or maybe I need to widen my circle of friends to people I actually speak to rather than 'type speak' to!!!!)

i have talk talk 3, free calls all day, and international.............. free broad band. my boss is on o2 i ring her off my mobile, which i have fave place to i get 500 free mintues to o2 and landlines a month plus my tenner credit. i use msn thats good too. send a txt of the pc
i will be debt free, i will
  • Can't you switch to one of the packages that includes all calls to landlines free? It's got to be cheaper than paying for them. I didn't even realise that BT still did packages that don't include all landline calls. Even with BT being more expensive than some other providers, our monthly all in bill including broadband is around the £40 mark.
  • I'm going to look into all of this - there's got to be a cheaper way surely ?!?!?!?!

I do text a lot from mobile and e-mail too.

Can't wait to have a look at the itemised bill that they are sending me - the !!!!!!s ...............

yes £69 in line rental and VAT
  • I could not agree more - who are you with now immoral_angeluk?

I had a nightmare with Tiscali - they went on taking money off my credit card for months after I had finished with them. Phone call after phone call (all at rip-off 08700 rates) produced no response until I managed to find a director's private office line. Avoid Tiscali at all costs.
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.

Blimey thats shocking, my BT bill is £12.50 a month.

Why are you being charged for over 200 local calls if they are free after 6pm??? Are you making them during the day rather than wait til free?
