Eek, does that include broadband costs? If so deduct your line rental and broadband and work out where the rest of the money went - It's so easy to overspend lol0

I couldn't do that - on the package I have after 6pm local calls are free and I do save there -BUT what I am going to do is go round and put notes on all the phones asking 'do I need to make this call? Can I e-mail instead? finally - call the number first a few times and hang up and let them call back - somethings gotta be done about this! The thing is I don't use the phone that much at all - we're broadbanded and with regards to meeting up with friends etc we send a round robin text from our mobiles.
Over the past 2 years I've called BT and asked them to list every number but its never happened - so annoyed. I'm on hold to them now - they have just agreed to itemise my bill - I've just update friends and family numbers as well
My bill used to be £60 - £70 per quarter ...........0 -

I know how you feel my teenage son did this to me a year or so ago and then just this week he's managed to use all his free minutes 500 and has still managed to make call's to the tune of £70 so this month's bill for him will be £100............. Just what I need around christmas!!!DEBT FREE 23/FEB/07 TWO YEAR's!! £2 £1020.00 Banked New total £268+ and counting SAVINGS 3000.00- ISA £30. :j0

I know that I am kinda joking about it but it has really taken the wind from my sails - I was expecting around the £150 mark which is what is has been for the past few quarters .............. anyway nice guy has agreed to send out an itemised statement.
On the bill I've got:
Local - 223 calls - £32.75
National - 152 calls - £21.48
International - 17 calls - £14.79 (this I'm sure is just 3 or maybe even 4 to Greece)
To a mobile - 242 calls - £67.08
0870 numbers - 30 - £6.18
0845 numbers - 21 - 2.21
Call return - 26 - £1.63
Ringback calls - 1 - 0.13
Ringback fee's - 3 - £0.38
Other calls - 7 - £2.49
Total calls £149.79
Total Bill including their charges £219.76
So although I've got £150 put aside for this - I've got to come up with another £70 on top of that.
Its only myself and my husband that use the phone - I'm sure that in a few years my son will be adding to that bill ............ he did manage to call 999 once - he's only 2 but I guess he see's me on the phone - anyway he got through to a female operator and was calling Nan nan nan - I didn't realise so just took the phone off him and put it down only for seconds later it to ring saying this is the police is everything okay ?!?!?!?!0 -
OMG - You must have more friends than I know people! We usually get billed £22 a month, which includes national and International to my fiances family in Switzerland....
Could you text people instead?
(Ps. There are just two of us as well!)0
