Broadband Compensation

Does anyone have anymore information on when this voluntary broadband compensation scheme is going to be switched on? If memory serves me it was around now but I can’t find any updates.

I don’t think it was that, it’s was something to do with if your internet went down for more than 48 hours you would receive £8 for each additional 24 hours and compensation for missed engineer appointments.

Unfortunately I’m a new user so I’m not allowed to post URL’s but google broadband compensation and have a look at the Ofcom result

There is no current live date for those OFCOM changes. Given that the initial discussions overran by 6 months, it is hardly surprising that the "early 2019" date has been missed.
And of course, it is a voluntary scheme so again no surprise that nobody is rushing to implement it.
