Sky sports for free

Options
I have recently cancelled sky broadband and have changed the package to the basic one. Since then we have had sky sports for free. We never had it before so they’ve obviously done something wrong when they made the changes. Would we be liable for charges if we don’t say anything? Should we tell sky so they can cancel it cheers

Are you sure also that albeit you have cancelled the package that it doesn't have an effective date somewhere else down the line? This can happen with Sky and it may go eventually. I would expect this is the case rather than you actually getting it for free, although I'm sure it does happen sometime, in which case you can never change your package again in case you ruin it. :D
Retired at age 56 after having "light bulb moment" due to reading MSE and its forums. Have been converted to the "budget to zero" concept and use YNAB for all monthly budgeting and long term goals.

Unlikely ever to be charged, but very liable to suddenly disappear!:)
