as the bank survey results were recently published, I looked at them.
starling (never heard of them before) I discovered is app only (has card, pay in via post office, and support via app chat or phone)
setting up was easy through their app and instantly linked to google pay.
currently just a bank transfer to top up starling to use Google pay.
works well.
Barclays own system doesn't work for NFC authorisations with retailers, although the cost for the transaction shows up on screen.0
