I remember that thread. Something about a house going cheap in Salisbury?

Would you know if the property is still available?

I guess this thread could be brought the the attention of the mods by reporting it to them?
    It's not difficult!

Although I don't post much here, I do read it. Pixie's advice has been spot-on and her knowledge of the Scottish system invaluable as Dave said on G_M's thread.

I suspect part of the issue is that of helpful forum regulars answering the same old questions over and over again when the answers are in the sticky threads or would be found in a simple search, and perhaps their answers come across as harsh or unkind. If they meant to be harsh, they wouldn't bother replying or helping, but I can understand why some people take it badly when they don't receive a fluffy-bunny reply to every post. If they stopped to think, the truth/facts are given in advice such as that Pixie, G_M and so many others give, but the understandable lack of niceties is more than these poor souls can cope with, so they report.

On the flip side, I had noticed the absence of Money's "thoughts presented as facts", so perhaps every cloud does have a silver lining. Thank you to everyone who gives of their time and expertise and who has helped me in any way. It is genuinely appreciated.

Following G_Ms post that Pixie has been excluded from the site, I would like to suggest that other posters who have found her posts helpful and informative post and like here.

    Mods, please reinstate Pixie

Mods don't care for whatever reason, they simply react to a report without reading the offending post or thread prior to making an informed decision.

Curious as to what you're basing this on?

Based on the threads and the posters who have been banned or suspended and the whole perfectly innocent threads that have been deleted. The punished posters tend to be ones who are simply never controversial at least not in a nasty way. There was a thread a few months ago where the mod wouldn't answer any questions about why people were getting the stick. If they explained exactly why the bans were happening then it could be discussed.

    She wasn't.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

They've admitted it - they don't have 'time' to read all threads and posts so just react.
