Clarity on Broadband Speeds

Currently on Sky Max for £35 per month and received my price increase letter so will use this as an opportunity to get out of my contract early.
I am having trouble deciding on a package as the "average download" speeds are useless to me. I know what sync speed my line is capable off (around 45Mbit), so want to avoid selecting a package that is too low, or otherwise overpaying for one that doesn't deliver the maximum speed my line is capable off.
Does anyone know the theoretical maximum sync speed for
- BT Fibre Unlimited
- BT Fibre Essential
- TalkTalk Unlimited Fibre Broadband
- TalkTalk Unlimited Fibre Speed Boost
Any downsides with TalkTalk as a provider? They seem cheapest currently.

The BT fibre unlimited I think is limited to 50Mbps so you would get the same speed as you do now.
TalkTalk unlimited I think would be limited to a lower sync speed than you currently get. TalkTalk speed boost will sync at 80Mbps max.
In my experience TalkTalk are poor. They have lost customer data in the past (and didn't tell their customers before it hit the news. I have personal experience of this.) I recently tried to sign up for them and there was a problem with the order for some reason. Their customer service team could not help and seemingly couldn't quite understand the issue. I signed up with a different provider.0 -
BT 52 meg and 76/80 meg .0

Many thanks.
I think I'm gonna try Vodafone. Their superfast 1 package seems to be the 40/10 while the superfast 2 is 80/20. They seem to think they can get me 55MBit minimum on my line and that's for £27. If that doesn't work, I'll get a 15% discount to £23. And I can use my own router as well.

so if you go with the lower cost fibre package with anyone (except BT) you will be limited to 40 mbps.
But that is the :money: mse option. No point paying more for an insignificant 5mbps
I think sky also dropped the low cost fibre options to new customers.
So I would recommend nowTV. Better service than vodafone and talktalk.
Owned by Sky, so reasonable service.
typically £25/month0 -

Sky have indeed dropped the lower speed for new subscribers but have also moved (or are moving) everyone to the higher speed, although whether they can actually utilise that is dependant on location.
NowTV still use the lower speed, presumably a deliberate ploy from Sky to differentiate.0
