apologies speedboy on behalf of the useful MSE members - some bored keyboard warriors appear to lurk on this forum.
I can see you're not disputing liability for the PCN and I'd repeat KeithP ' advice to read the MSE article - it suggests many sites have old info and the charges aren't actually applied
excuse me , I am not a "bored keyboard warrior" , the OP has posted in a forum that is devoted to fighting "PARKING" charges
the OP has no intention of fighting the PARKING charge , perhaps they would be better posting in "The Consumer Rights Board" where people might assist them in a debit charge cost0 -
Being a newbie I didn't post it in the Parking Charges Forum I posted in another forum but was told and directed to post in this one maybe shouldn't have bothered in joining the site in the first place0

I think you were wrongly redirected , your problem seems not to be a parking charge (fighting) but one of legality of debit card charges on any product or service
there is however another aspect to this , if you refuse to pay now and the "fine" or penalty or whatever then goes up to £100 , the company will then be breaking UK law by charging £101,50 when law states that max chargable is £1000 -

Where did you originally post?0 -
one could also argue to the BPA or IPC that £61.50 is not 60% Of the £100 charge , again required by law0

If you post the exact wording used in your reply to the PPC there is a small chance you may still escape.
Just because you were there it doesn’t necessarily follow that you were the driver.
